The institutional and purely functional nature of these bathrooms allow a clean slate to build upon.
I am interested in this basic sterility and the fact that these toilets could be anywhere.

Building upon this anonymity, I have installed two more basic public bathroom fixtures—condom machines—
modified slightly to become art that isn’t immediately apparent, inviting interaction.
With their intended function in tact, these machines distribute condoms
along with proverbs that relate to the setting and to the hidden video element.
